Here at Long Crendon, we run a varied music offering that intertwines itself into the inner workings of the school.
Our music provision covers the following:

- Peripatetic Music Lessons
- Lunchtime Rock Band Club
- Weekly Gig Assemblies
- Termly Concerts
The peripatetic lessons are taught by several independent tutors alongside XYZ Music Academy.
The instrumental tuition on offer covers the following instruments:
- Drum Kit
- Piano
- Electric Guitar
- Classical Guitar
- Ukulele
- Singing
- Woodwind
For the classroom music lessons, Mr Duncan Lee from XYZ Music Academy runs a broad and varied curriculum. This curriculum was developed by the XYZ Team and is now known under the name of XYZ Primary. The curriculum comprises over 50 module topics in a tiered system which supports progression year upon year as students move through the school. The curriculum has been developed, tried, and tested at Long Crendon School since 2017. This resource is now spreading across the counties to help improve the music provision in the UK.
