Sports Premium at Long Crendon School

At Long Crendon School children experience a wide range of sporting activities. The school is fortunate in having excellent facilities for physical education with extensive playing fields, playground, an outdoor swimming pool and a large hall. There is a progressive PE curriculum in place led by Mr Poote, ensuring children are taught a broad spectrum of sports in an age appropriate way. All children are taught swimming every year, which is over and above our statutory duty to provide swimming lessons.

A variety of extra-curricular sports clubs run throughout the year for all age groups and are open to all abilities. These are designed to be fully inclusive and are open to all children who wish to take part.

Sports Day

This takes place in the Summer Term and is designed to be inclusive. Parents will be invited to watch.

Festivals and Fixtures

Our children are getting involved in numerous Festivals and fixtures.

There are plenty of opportunities for all years to be involved in Festivals, fixtures or extra curricular activities across a wide range of sports, both internally and at inter-school events.
