We are very fortunate that every class has a one hour music lesson every week and taught in a separate singing session by Duncan and Michael Lee (founders of XYZ Music Academy). They have exciting plans to make sure that the Music curriculum is fresh and modern, including regular drumming sessions and performances.

PERFORMANCE OPPORTUNITIES

*All children in KS2 are encouraged to perform in weekly assembly gigs.
*After-School Recitals take place 2 or 3 times a year; all parents and children are welcome to attend and it is an ideal opportunity for KS1 children to see which instruments they may like to take up.
*Foundation Stage children and KS1 children perform annual Nativity Plays
*KS2 children all perform in the prestigious Christmas Concert
*Easter and Harvest provide opportunities for Whole-School presentations on our big stage
