PTA Fundraising and How You Can Help

Our Fundraising Target

We aim to raise £20,000 every year for our school.

This may seem like a huge sum, but when you discover that Long Crendon School receives around £150,000 less Government funding compared to schools like ours elsewhere in Bucks, it makes it a very important sum.

In recent years, with the money we raised, we bought essential – and nice to have! – equipment, resources and experiences for our children and staff, including:

New Dining Room furniture, Library furniture and carpets
Refurbishment of the IT suite, including more computers
SEN books and equipment for the Nurture Group
Science Dome for all years, STEM workshop day for Y1, Y3 and Y6, and Hands-on Science day for all years
Great Fire of London Day for Y2 and Egyptian Day for Y3.
Renewal of our Mathletics, Purple Mash and Busy Ant Maths programs
Participation in the Rothschild Reading Project and Science Quality Mark program
Outdoor maths resources, construction role play materials and musical instruments for Foundation

Direct donations

The PTA want to say a big ’THANK YOU’ to everyone who has donated to us through BT MyDonate. It’s now closed but the good news is we are now using EasyFundraising instead, so we can continue raising money.

Just like BT MyDonate, making a direct donation through EasyFundraising is 100% secure and it’s fee free – they don’t take a commission on your donations or charge us for using their services so more of the money you raise gets to us. What’s more, with EasyFundraising you can also help us for FREE just by doing your everyday online shopping. And please don’t forget to put any old clothing and shoes for recycling in the Clothes Bank situated just outside the school gates as this helps to raise vital funds for the school. Thank you!

Support can be given in a number of ways – being part of a team to organise a specific event, providing help on the day, or just coming along and supporting the event.
