Sometimes it can be a real struggle to find age-appropriate books that appeal to children as they reach upper KS2.

Y6 – Useful Information

Homework
A Homework Grid will be sent home for Autumn 1. This grid will be explained in more detail at the Meet the Teacher Session.
Reading Competition
Your aim is to read 3 x per week. Record when you have read aloud to an adult in your homework diary and hand your diary into school on a Tuesday to be checked.
Swimming
There will be no swimming in the Autumn Term.
Forest School
There will not be a weekly Forest School session for Y6. Instead we will hold Forest School days each term.

Due to take place the week beginning 10th May 2021.
Y6 Residential – Isle Of Wight
We currently have a booking for Summer 2021. Watch this space on further information regarding the Y6 Residential.
