Year 2 – Walnut Class
Welcome to the year 2 class page. The year 2 teacher is Mrs Deppe who is supported by Mrs Basu.
Our home-learning has now moved to Seesaw, an online platform where we will be uploading weekly work for the children to complete.
As well as this we are using Rising Stars online reading scheme. See the guide in the useful links section for more information.
You should all have received an email with the logins for both of these platforms. Please email me if you have any questions.
In addition to Seesaw, learning should also include:
- Reading to an adult for 10 minutes with questioning (this can be done on Rising Stars online)
- Times table
Please see the side bar for extra links and resources that you may find useful.
Our Summer 1 topic is: Ugly Bug Ball
All learning for our new topic will be uploaded onto Seesaw.
Please click the link for our topic web:
Topics can evolve differently to what is on the topic web if children have a particular interest in a certain area linked. We aim to link all areas of our learning to our topic.
