In the class pages you can find out more about each year group such as topics and learning in each class, news and details of special events and a gallery of photos highlighting the children at work and play.
When joining the school, all children are divided into one of four planet-themed house groups. Siblings are allocated to the same house as each other and pupils stay in the same house throughout their time at the school. House points can be awarded to the children for a number of different reasons for their respective houses:
It can be to reward positive behaviour that demonstrates the values in and around school. It can be for work that shows great effort for that child in particular or teamwork amongst children. Children will also gain house points on sports day by taking part in the activities and gaining points as a team.
The House Captains collect the points weekly from each class and the results are announced in Monday’s assembly. At the end of every half term the running totals are announced by the House Captains. Running totals are displayed on the rocket chart in the school hall. A cup is on the trophy shelf with the ribbon of the house that is currently in the lead with the most house points each week. At the end of the year a shield and cup is awarded to the house that has gained the most house points over the year.
Which of the four houses Jupiter, Mars, Neptune or Venus is currently leading the House Points challenge?
